My brain is pulled in eight different directions all day long, and few things make me feel like myself. Along with nature (virtual and in real life), music has been providing some solace. Since we’re all in this together, I wanted to share my April quarantine playlist. I’d love to know!   April Quarantine Playlist “TIme to Get Ill” by Beastie Boys “Lake of Fire” by Nirvana: The Nirvana unplugged album makes me feel so much nostalgia. There’s something so dark about Nirvana at times and yet so comforting. I suppose in times like these their songs validate my feelings of despair and frustration. I am loving the extra sunshine and color changes—like the Texas wildflowers that are starting to dot the landscape. A new season always feels like a fresh start and I love the way a good playlist can help set my mood for the day. These are the songs I’ve been listening to on repeat during my long runs and carpool runs. It’s a mix of old-school greats and a few new songs, including two artists playing SXSW in a few weeks.
