I’m an EMT and mom of 3. No time, no money for luxury items. For my own mental health though I HAVE to have eyeliner, mascara, and chapstick! I use stila – Stay All Day waterproof liquid eye liner and benefit – they’re Real mascara. I work 12-24hr shifts and NEVER need to touch up or wipe off! This stuff stays where you put it even in pouring rain! I get mine from Ulta beauty for about $20 each.

First off I have always loved Whitney, been a fan of hers for years! I think both Gen and Whit have great beauty and style, inside and out. Second, I signed up for weekly newsletters but have never received one. Any help or should I just stop checking for one? Hi Gen – I love your blog and the very interesting information you put out – especially for new moms. I’m a new “Mimi” to my first granddaughter, Savannah, born this past March.
I do have a concern for the Burt’s Bees products for babies – and the line of makeup & skincare – since they are owned by Clorox, who I wouldn’t associate their products as “natural”. I know you endorse their product, and of course that’s your choice, but I’m concerned with the product ingredients that are questionable for use on baby or Mom.

I am a simple woman that likes the most bang for my buck. I enjoy using Elf products, they don’t cost very much but go a long way. The mascara is great to really bring my eyelashes out, the foundation doesn’t feel heavy and a little goes a long way. I can get out of the shower and makeup ready in 10 minutes. Since I already have a natural dark lip color a simple tinted lip gloss is enough.

I absolutely love Burts Bees and their beauty products are incredible. I’ve been using their chapstick and make-up removing wipes for a long time. Then bought their lipstick when it came out and I’m obsessed. Everything is amazing and makes you feel good that no animals were harmed.

I love your dress! And my go to skin products are Lina Hanson and try to use all natural and organic make up products. Will definitely check out Burt’s Bees as was unaware they did so many different products
