They do help me relax. Now I also keep a notebook too because when my mind is racing with things I have to do I just write them down and it seems to calm me.

Not sure why the last four items are there so I shall tidy them away now.

It helps and I love the smell and my tablet for reading.

The table is too small. I have a baby video monitor so I can see if little one gets out of bed, Hair grips, a coaster as I often have a drink sitting there when I’m in my room, I have a book on the floor nearby as there’s not enough space. I also have notebooks on the floor nearby….these posts are inspiring me to sort it out! I need to get a bigger table and have it more organised and attractive. Thanks for the inspiration!

I have 14 books with only one that I am currently reading. A small lamp, picture of my husband and me from 30 years ago and a snapshot of my little family when my daughter was young and the two dogs we entered our marriage with. And a keepsake carving of a turtle from going to the Galápagos Islands. A destination I highly recommend if you want to go to a unique place to contemplate the human, animal, and earth relationship.
