I love that you stopped in Colorado twice! I love reading about how you navigate with your kids. I have 4 so I know how challenging and rewarding it is. I actually live about 30 minutes south of Colorado Springs in Pueblo so I’m so familiar with the Broadmoor. The Cheyenne Moutain Zoo is so fun if you are ever back in the area.

Thank you for sharing your amazing trip! Many must see places for my future road trips in US. Especially Colorado and Utah interests me and the Yellowstone is a must visit! Year ago we did a roadtrip in California, Nevada and Arizona which was amazing! Hopefully someday in near future Covid is over and we can travel again. I live in Finland where weather is cold or chilly for the most of the year so I’d take that Roswell heat anytime 😀

Thank you for posting about your vacation sites. I grew up on coastal land but always had a heart for hills/mountains. I love vast lands and mountains and i feel it centers me and tranquil and serene with nature. I’ve been itching to leave home to go some place like these since quarantine started. Happy to see y’all have fun and making memories 🙂

I enjoyed reading about your road trip where you visited all those beautiful locations. There are so many worthwhile places to visit in this country. Many years ago now, a friend and I took a Trek America road trip with 11 other people where we traveled together in a large van from New York to Los Angeles. I will never forget all the beautiful places I saw and visited then. Niagara Falls, Mount Rushmore, Yosemite, Yellowstone ( my friend was very happy to have a stuffy nose because the sulfur pits smelled horrible), lake Tahoe, Badlands and a bunch of other cool places. Memories for a lifetime for sure! Anyway, I enjoy reading all your posts, very inspiring! I love reading books too. In Maryland, where I live, we have bunch of Little Free Libraries where I can find lots of great reading materials for free. When I’m done with them, I can return them and let others read them too. When I first saw it, I thought it would be destroyed right away but people are being great at using it as it was meant to be.

It sounds like you all had a fabulous time! This has made me want to plan a future US trip to visit all those places, too! The Under the Canvas stays sound amazing!

Hopefully one day, when all this Covid nonsense is over and the US is considered a safe place to visit again.

I’ve been really enjoying your Book Club rcommendations and the conversations with the authors. Thanks for inspiring my reading!

Lastly, congrats on the Walker role and the chance to work with your talented hubby again. Really looking forward to seeing this show, even though I’m sad that Supernatural is ending.

This trip sounds like it was once in a lifetime! I’m sure the kids will always treasure it. Thank you for sharing this information! Ive never been out west, except for a work trip to Vegas, haha but there are so many sites im dying to see out there! I’m definitely adding a couple of these to my list!
